Tracking some more scattered showers & storms today
TUESDAY: More scattered showers and storms throughout the day. This morning, they’ll favor our northwestern-most counties before redeveloping for more of us this afternoon. Any one of which could drop an unneeded inch or two, reviving some flooding concerns. Highs will push into the low to mid 80’s once again.
TONIGHT: The threat of showers and storms will linger overnight. Lows will fall to near 70.
EXTENDED: Expecting a coverage to be a bit wider-reaching on Wednesday. The hit-and-miss flooding threat will linger into tomorrow. Highs will be a bit cooler with the wider coverage in rain, near 80. The front will get a kick on Thursday and start moving south finally. It’ll generate some more showers and thunderstorms as it does so, but these might be the last for a while. Cooler and drier conditions will take over for the holiday weekend. Highs will still make it into the low to mid 80’s, but will feel much more comfortable with dewpoints in the low 60’s. We look to stay dry this weekend and right into next week.
