Student jumped by three people with a gun in Jefferson City

Police have limited information after a college student is jumped by three people in Jefferson City.

The victim goes to school at Lincoln University. He was walking back to campus Thursday morning near the Break Time on Clark when a man grabbed him from behind and hit him in the head with a gun.

Two other men were also there, but did not attack the man. Police say they escaped with the student’s cell phone and wallet.

Investigators did not have many details about the suspects. They could only confirm they were all wearing hoodies.
