Man accused of killing son-in-law appears in court
A California man accused of killing his son-in-law appeared in Moniteau County court today.
Donald Bateman is facing first degree murder and armed criminal action charges after the September 3rd killing.
Bateman and his son-in-law were apparently arguing about fixing a broken water heater.
His next court appearance is scheduled for January.
