Woman arrested for trying to kidnap her children

A woman was arrested Saturday night after apparently trying to kidnap her kids.

Court documents show Megan Keller threatened to shoot her ex-husband and children Saturday night around 8 at Bob Evan’s on Clark Lane.

As Keller’s ex tried to call 911, Keller put an automatic pistol to his head and said she was going to kill him.

Documents also said she attempted to kidnap their kids by putting them in the back of her car and attempting to leave the parking lot.

As she was driving away she rolled her window down and told her ex-husband quote, “I’m going to kill the kids.”

There was an active protective order put on Keller last Wednesday that she violated.

It stated she was not to have any contact with her kids or anyone in the household.

Keller was arraigned via video and appeared from the Boone County Jail Monday.

Keller was crying and shaking as the judge read off her 6 charges.

She is charged with attempted robbery in the first degree, attempted kidnapping, domestic abuse in the second degree, two counts of kidnapping, armed criminal action and three counts of violation of a protective order.

Keller’s bond is set at $150,000.

Her next court appearance is on November 11th at 9:00 a.m.
