Columbia man arrested for meth, distribution materials

A Columbia man was arrested Friday afternoon for having meth and various drug paraphernalia as well as packaging materials.

Columbia Police searched a home in the 2000 block of Riney Lane and found 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia such as pipes, syringes, and a spoon with residue. They also found scales, baggies, and ledgers.

61-year-old Dennis Nowlin was arrested for for distribution of a controlled substance and was taken to the Boone Co. Jail.
