MU police investigate two rape reports
Police at Mizzou are investigating two reported rapes that happened within a short time span.
The first happened sometime late Thursday (October 2) or early Friday (October 3) at Schurz Resident Hall on College Avenue. The victim described the suspect as a tall white male, 18-24 years old, with dark hair. She has not decided at this point whether to pursue the case with law enforcement.
The second rape happened early Friday morning (October 3) at a residence hall. The victim told police she didn’t know in which hall the assault took place. The suspect in this case is described as a tall, skinny male with dark hair and a dark complexion.
MU police they have no evidence to indicate these assaults are connected to each other or to other rapes reported earlier this semester.
