Mid-Missouri roads remain closed due to flooding
Several roads in Boone County are still closed following Wednesday and Thursday’s severe weather and flooding.
Akeman Bridge at Perche Creek and Gillespie Bridge Road at Perche Creek are still closed.
Route E at Twin Bridges is also closed.
Other main areas that are closed include Brushwood Lake and Blackfoot Road at Bear Creek.
On Thursday, three people were rescued from a car on Route ZZ west of Columbia.
MoDOT worked on clearing Route ZZ from debris, but it may not be opened until Sunday.
