Boone Co. crews make water rescue
An adult and a child were rescued from a SUV stuck in flood waters in Boone County.
Crews were working to pull the vehicle from the water on Strawn Road.
Boone County officials told ABC 17 News water rose several inches in a very short period of time over the road.
The two stuck in the SUV were both uninjured.
Fire officials said this was their third rescue in Boone County Thursday, with two in Boone County and one in Columbia.
They also reminded drivers not to drive over any roads with water on them, even if the lines are still visible.
