Accused Moniteau Co. killer appears in court
A California man accused in the September 3 killing of his son-in-law appeared in court Tuesday.
Bateman’s bond was set at $1 million, and he was appointed a public defender.
68-year-old Donald Bateman is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 43-year-old Antoine Johnson in the 500 block of West Main St. in California.
