Lt. Bruce Britt honored in Colorado
Saturday, the International Association of Firefighters honored a fallen Columbia firefighter in Colorado.
Lieutenant Bruce Britt died in a deadly balcony collapse in February.
The IAFF put on a memorial ceremony honoring emergency medical personnel and firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty.
Lt. Britt had his name engraved into the IAFF Wall of Honor in Pike’s Peak. He was a 23-year-old veteran of the Columbia Fire Department.
Lt. Britt died from injures after a balcony collapsed at University Village Apartments earlier this year.
