Crews to begin preps for demolition of University Village Apartments

Crews will be on site at University Village Apartments on the University of Missouri campus Monday to begin preparation for its demolition.

Those crews will begin removing asbestos from the apartments.

The demolition plan comes after a deadly walkway collapse back in February.

Residents moved out of the complex at the end of June.

The demolition project will cost just under $400,000.
