BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

Constructions crews will begin preventative maintenance the Missouri River Bridge on U.S. Route 40 in Boonville beginning Monday.

Officials report work will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Highway 40 but traffic will have a reduced speed limit and temporary striping to guide traffic through the work area.

Construction should be completed in September.

The existing bridge maintenance is necessary in order to get the maximum service life out of the bridge.
