Two arrested in Fulton drug bust

The Fulton Police Department and members of the M.U.S.T.A.N.G. drug task force arrested two Fulton residents after officers say they located methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Shawn Lynn Bruns was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Michael William Van Soptick was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of an illegal weapon and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Bruns was released on a summons and Soptick is being held at the Callaway County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
