Audrain Co. man sentenced to prison for attack
An Audrain County man is headed to prison after beating a woman unconscious in late 2012.
ABC 17 News confirmed Jordan Shelton of Mexico was sentenced on Friday to 10 years behind bars for the attack. He has to serve a minimum of at least eight and a half years.
Witnesses came forward and said Shelton hit the woman in the face, rendering her unconscious for more than 20 minutes.
She had no memory of what happened.
