Former Mizzou football player arrested on rape accusations
The University of Missouri police have arrested former Mizzou defensive back, David Sowell, on rape accusations.
Investigators said the report came from Campusview Drive just off Providence Road.
The woman told officers she knew Sowell before the incident.
MUPD said the investigation is still ongoing.
As of Sunday night, Sowell was in the Boone County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
