Tracking patchy fog, warmer Thursday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cool with lows in the upper 50s to around 60.

TOMORROW: Patchy fog in low lying areas early, followed by more sunshine. Highs in the upper 70s to around 80.

EXTENDED: Rain chances stay near I-44 and southeast on Thursday. High pressure begins to build in Friday and through the weekend with temperatures rising into the mid-upper 80s. We stay largely rain free until Sunday afternoon as there could be a few scattered storms but we remain warm in the mid-80s. Showers and storms look more likely for the first half of next week, and we start to get hotter by late next week with highs approaching 90 degrees for some by next weekend. Rain amounts over the next week look to cap out at about 0.25".
