Woman killed in Pettis County crash
A Saline County woman was killed Saturday afternoon when the Jeep she was in rolled over and ejected her.
Amy Harper, 34, of Nelson, was in the passenger side of the Jeep, which started to roll down Mcallister Road, between Marshall and Sedalia.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Harper was unbuckled and was thrown from the Jeep.
A passerby, Darrell Slaughter, was also hurt in the incident. Troopers reported he tried to physically stop the Jeep from moving.
Slaughter was taken to Bothwell Regional Medical Center on Saturday with minor injuries.
