Mizzou baseball drops 11 inning contest 9-2 over No. 22 Mississippi State

Sunday afternoon the Missouri tiger baseball team dropped their lead over No. 22 Mississippi state losing 9-2 in 11 innings.

Eric Anderson (P/DH) had a strong showing throwing six innings, seven strike outs and holding the Bulldogs to three runs.

The fifth inning the Tigers were strong at bat scoring four runs. Josh Lester, Dylan Kelly, Ryan Howard and Logan Pearson gave the Tigers a 6-3 lead.

Then Mississippi State came back strong scoring two runs at the top of the 9th forcing extra innings.

Top of the 11th the Bulldogs scored two runs for the win.
