Standoff ends with drug arrests in Osage County

Multiple law enforcement agencies raided homes and made arrests in Osage County on Saturday.

According to a news release, three men were arrested for having drugs during the investigations. Osage County Sheriffs deputies, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers, and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group were involved in the searches.

Keith “Tuffy” Lansford was arrested after a short standoff at a home in the 800 block of Branson Lane. Several other people ran as deputies arrived.

Lansford held ran back into the home and locked the doors when he saw deputies. According to the news release, investigators had information that multiple firearms were present inside and set up a perimeter while talking to Lansford through a bullhorn.

Lansford, also wanted for fleeing Osage County deputies on April 2 because of a parole revocation after a Maries County arrest for having a methamphetamine lab and illegal firearms. He faced a ten year prison sentence for the offense.

Belle resident Shawn Stubblefield, 34, was arrested on Highway 89 and accused of illegally having drugs and guns and hindering prosecution.

Ronald Stubblefield, also of Belle, was arrested on suspicion of having drugs and drug paraphernalia.

All three were being held Saturday night in the Osage County jail.
