Mizzou closes out the season with a senior day win

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team ended an up and down season on a high note on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers took down Auburn 7-6 on senior day.

Head coach Steve Bieser rotated seniors in on the bump, including Konnor Ash, Jackson Lancaster, and Lukas Veinbergs. All together, Mizzou has eight seniors, including Mark Vierling, Clayton Peterson, Alex Peterson, Chad McDaniel, and Brandt Belk.

MU finishes out the season 15-36 overall, 8-22 in the SEC. Postseason play is not in the conversation for Mizzou, since only 12 out of the conference's 14 teams make it each year.
