Sedalia man arrested for distributing methamphetamine

The Sedalia Police Department with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jack Kaufman Saturday morning in the 300 block of E. Saline Street on a narcotics-related search warrant.

After a search of the home with K9 unit, officers found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging supplies. Officers also found more than $1,000 in cash they believe to be profit from drug sales.

Further investigation revealed Kaufman was involved in distributing methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription medications from his home.

Officers also seized five firearms found inside the home.

Kaufman is being held in the Pettis County Jail on $100,000 bond. He is facing five felony charges and three misdemeanor charges.
