Couple robbed at gunpoint on Demaret Drive
A couple was robbed at gunpoint while getting out of their car early Sunday morning in the 700 block of Demaret Drive.
Boone County Sheriffs deputies said in a news release that one man was assaulted during the robbery, but not hurt.
Investigators described the suspects as three black men wearing dark hoodies and jeans, with black bandanas covering their faces.
The robbery comes just days after a shooting in that same block of Demaret. A woman told deputies she and three children were inside a home when a bullet hit it. Investigators found shell casings outside that home.
No one was hurt in that instance.
