UM Board of Curators approves new indoor football facility

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The UM Board of Curators unanimously approved the plans to build a new indoor football facility at its meeting on Wednesday.

The budget for the project will be $33,140,000, and it will be funded by gifts donated to the school over the next seven years.

MU said a new full-sized indoor football practice facility is needed because the current one at the Devine Pavilion is only 70 yards long.

The new indoor will be adjacent to the south end zone facility at Faurot Field. MU expects the project to be completed by December of 2022.
