Missouri women’s basketball team loses to Alabama 59-56

On Sunday, the Missouri women’s basketball team dropped a tight game, 59-56, to Alabama. Mizzou falls to 14-10 to overall and 3-8 in conference play.

Bri Kulas and Morgan Eye scored a combined 37 points.

Kulas scored 13 of her 18 points in the final 20 minutes and Eye leading the team with 19 points.

Kayla McDowell, freshman, stepped up in the second half scoring her first double-double in an SEC game (12 points, 11 rebounds.)

In the final minutes. After Eye buried her fourth three-pointer to hand the Tigers a 52-50 advantage, the Crimson Tide answered with a trey of its own.
