Hit-and-run driver escapes in Columbia after crashing into city snow plow

Columbia police are asking for more help finding a driver in a recent hit-and-run accident involving a city snow plow. A silver Mercury SUV was captured on downtown cameras right before the crash near 7th Street and Broadway around 12:02 a.m. Wednesday.

A Columbia employee in a John Deere tractor was cut on the top of the head. The worker was taken to the hospital by a police officer. The other driver is described as a white woman, college-aged with blonde hair.
