Four homes destroyed in Morgan County fire
Four homes and ten acres of land were destroyed in a fire late Monday night.
Morgan County officials say a flue fire in a home spread to three mobile homes in the 3300 block of Ivy Bend Road. Authorities say the high winds helped to spread the flames.
The fire destroyed four houses, a large building and approximately ten acres.
The Ivy Bend Fire Department, Gravois Fire Protection District, Stover Fire Protection District, Versailles Rural Fire Protection District, Moreau Fire Protection District and Cole Camp Rural Fire Department all responded to the incident.
A damage estimate is not yet available.
