Two children fall through pond in west Columbia
Two children escaped Monday morning after falling through an icy pond in west Columbia.
Emergency crews received a call about a possible water rescue around 10 a.m. near Louisville and Smith drives off Scott Boulevard.
Boone County and city firefighters responded, but when they arrived on scene, both victims were already out of the water.
Their mother talked with rescuers and confirmed the children were alright.
