St. Mary’s Cancer Center at JCMG nearing completion
With 25 medical specialties and 90 providers, Jefferson City Medical Group is hoping to become a one-stop shop for residents’ health when a new cancer center is completed.
The new St. Mary’s Cancer Center at JCMG is nearing completion, and paid for by $6.5 million in donations.
With the addition of the center, JCMG officials tell ABC 17 News they’ll be providing a continuous flow of care.
A concrete structure is being built behind the current Women’s and Children’s Center. The building has walls that are 4 feet thick. It will house a linear accelerator, which is used to provide cancer patients with radiation.
The new cancer treatment center is scheduled to open in April.
