Benton County Sheriff issues Endangered Person Advisory for missing teen

The Benton County Sheriff’s Department has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for a teen who went missing from Warsaw, Mo.

Affiliate WDAF-TV reports 13-year-old Cheyenne Marie Masterson was found safe, but the circumstances of locating her were not immediately released.

Masterson was last seen when she went to bed at 10:30 p.m. on Christmas. When her grandmother went to wake her up Thursday morning, she discovered the bed had not been slept in and Cheyenne was was gone.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Department said Cheyenne ran away from home in the past to the Independence area.

Authorities say Cheyenne may have been depressed and suicidal.
