Child seriously hurt after bicycle crashes with pickup truck in Audrain County

LADDONIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized after crashing his bicycle into a pickup truck Saturday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports, the boy was riding his bicycle at the intersection of Walnut and Sixth streets in Laddonia, Missouri, shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday.

The boy was riding westbound at the intersection when he crashed into the left side of a pickup truck driving northbound.

Troopers reported the boy suffered serious injuries. He was transported to Noble Health Audrain Community Hospital for treatment.
