Columbia man caught masturbating in Hobby Lobby

Police arrested a Columbia man after he was caught masturbating in a store.

Officers say a shopper at Hobby Lobby found 58-year-old William Carver exposing himself in one of the aisles. While the witness went to tell an employee, Carver fled the store.

Officers later caught up to Carver and compiled a line-up for the witness, who identified him as the suspect masturbating in the store.

Carver was arrested for second-degree sexual misconduct and posted a $500 bond.
