No. 5 Tennessee sweeps Mizzou baseball

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team fell to No. 5 Tennessee in a 10-2 loss on Sunday, which extended their losing streak to nine games.

The three-straight losses mark just the fourth time Steve Bieser's group has been swept this season.

The Tigers got on the board first, due to solid base running from designated hitter Josh Holt Jr., however, it was all Volunteers from that point on. Mizzou reached deep into the bullpen, as the starter, Zach Hise, allowed six earned runs over four innings.

Up next - Mizzou is in for another tough match up in Starkville, Mississippi. The Tigers and the No. 4 Bulldogs will meet on 13 at 7:30 P.M.
