Woman killed in Pulaski County car crash

A central Missouri woman was killed in a car crash in Pulaski County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Angela Tate, 52, of St. Robert, was traveling on Highway 28 Thursday night when her car ran off the left side of the road.

Troopers say Tate’s vehicle hit a utility pole, rolled, then hit a second utility pole.

Tate was pronounced dead at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.

The death was the first for the 2013 Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

During the 2012 Thanksgiving holiday weekend, six people were killed and another 434 were injured in more than 1,200 traffic accidents on Missouri roads.
