Police investigate strong arm robbery in Columbia

Police are investigating a strong arm robbery Sunday.

Police say a Columbia man was robbed by two men from whom he planned to buy a cell phone.

The strong arm robbery happened at the Broadway Village apartments in east Columbia Sunday night.

The victim says he was meeting the suspects to buy a phone when they beat him up and took the money he planned to give for the phone. The suspects broke the victim’s glasses, so he was unable get a good description of the suspects.
