Police investigating armed robbery in Columbia
Columbia police are searching for two armed suspects after a robbery on Heriford Road late Saturday night.
Officers told ABC 17 News at the scene that two suspects robbed victim in the 1800 block of Heriford Road.
The victim told police he heard a knock on his door around 10 p.m. When he answered, one suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded property from him.
Police say the suspects stole several items from the victim and another woman who was in the home.
The first suspect is described as a heavyset black male, between 6′ and 6’2″ tall, with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, jeans, boots and a stocking cap.
The second suspect is described as a black male, around 5’6″ to 5’7″ tall, and wearing a dark-colored jacket.
