Tracking warmer temperatures and more sunshine Wednesday

TONIGHT: Rain moves out and clouds gradually decrease. Lows in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny and a bit warmer with highs in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow evening into Thursday, a weak front will bring a chance for spotty showers on Thursday, but that looks to clear out by afternoon. High pressure briefly builds in on Friday, getting temperatures back into the upper 60s. However, a warm front lifting north will bring in more moisture to the area on Friday into Saturday, triggering showers and a few thunderstorms. Depending on where this boundary sets up, we could end up with rounds of rain over the weekend that add up to 2-3" by Monday. Right now it appears the better chance for severe weather will be south of the front, so the possibility seems somewhat limited at this time. Temperatures remain cooler than average in the upper 60s for Saturday and Sunday with continued rain and storms around. The active pattern and cooler than average temperatures continue into next week with the possibility of rain on Monday through Wednesday and highs in the low to mid-60s.
