Multiple car accident causes delays in Callaway County

Three cars were damaged after a driver hit a road sign Wednesday morning on Highway 63.

The crash happened in Callaway County just north of Cedar Creek around 8 a.m.

The highway sign fell into the driving lane of the southbound lanes, damaging three cars and causing delays during the morning commute.

The driver who hit the sign left the scene of the crash, but was later found by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Troopers say the driver could face charges for leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash.
