Tequila Mexican Restaurant closed after inspectors find roaches

A Mexican restaurant in Columbia was shut down earlier this week for health violations.

The health department says Tequila Mexican Restaurant off Providence Road was closed after inspectors discovered cockroaches coming out of the drains.

The restaurant was shut down Monday after the inspection.

Since then, the business was reinstated, but when ABC 17 News called Wednesday, the restaurant was still closed.
