Rollover accidents leads to weapons, drugs arrest

An Auxvasse man faces numerous charges after police found a gun and drugs in his car when he crashed his car.

Davon Anthion Bryant, 21, was driving a 2006 Ford Focus traveling north on Westminster Street when he struck a parked car. Fulton police arrived and found Bryant’s car upside down.

Upon further investigation, police found drug paraphernalia in the car. They then searched Bryant and found a concealed .380 semi-automatic handgun. They also found 8.5 grams of marijuana.

Bryant was arrested and faces charges including unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession and careless driving.

He was taken to the Callaway County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
