City officials call special meeting in Ashland

Ashland city officials have canceled a planned special meeting Friday night.

Leaders had been scheduled to talk about whether to reinstate a suspended alderman.

Jeff Anderson was suspended in September. He has been fighting his suspension, even taking legal action against the city.

The special meeting was scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. There was no explanation given as to why leaders canceled it.
