Jefferson City police are investigating the second armed robbery in two days.

Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the 2500 block of Scenic Drive to a report of an armed robbery.

Officer set up a perimeter around the victim’s home before entering. The suspect was not in the house, but a K-9 unit tracked the suspect to the 200 block of Haaf Drive before losing track.

Jefferson City police say the investigation is ongoing and officers are currently searching for the known suspect.
