Defense attorneys file motion to compel disclosure in Lake of the Ozarks murder for hire plot

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Attorneys for Leigh Ann Bauman have filed a Motion to compel discovery for two key pieces of evidence in the murder for hire trial.

According to the motion, Bauman's legal team wants the state to turn over an audio recording and a business card. These two items have not been disclosed to Bauman's defense.

The motion states the state has missed deadlines to turnover the requested evidence.

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Dec. 22.

A jury trial is scheduled for March 14, 2022.
