Alleged meth lab operators captured in Osage County

Multiple alleged meth lab operators have been captured in Osage County.

Deputies tell ABC 17 News they made a meth lab bust near Highway 50 in Linn Tuesday afternoon.

As authorities arrived on the scene for a domestic disturbance tied to an eviction notice, three people fled from the scene.

Deputies pursued the suspects on Highway 50 and were able to locate and arrest them.

Inside the home, authorities founds methamphetamine and meth lab components. Because of the discovery, deputies brought in other area agencies to assist.

“Working with the Lake area [law enforcement], with our drug task force and we have three suspects detained at this time,” said Osage County Sheriff Michael Dixon.

Suspected meth and meth lab equipment were also found on the suspects.

Authorities arrested 44-year-old Scott M. Eggmeyer, 52-year-old Harold B. Ridener and 27-year-old Danielle S. Wiegand on numerous felony charges including possession of meth or meth precursors and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They are being held in the Osage County Jail.
