One man flown to hospital after crash on I-70 in Saline county Friday

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man was taken to the hospital by helicopter after a crash on I-70 in Saline County Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. eastbound on I-70 near mile marker 76.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's Crash Report, 26-year-old Dieguez Dianel of Florida crashed into the back of another vehicle in a construction zone. That led to the truck hitting another.

Dianel was taken to the hospital with serious injuries on a helicopter from the scene.

No other injuries were reported. All three drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Two of the vehicles were totaled, and the other had "extensive" damage.
