Chesterfield man faces multiple charges after shooting at Eldon funeral home
ELDON, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Chesterfield man is now charged after he allegedly fired a gun inside an Eldon funeral home Wednesday at noon.
After Eldon police arrived on scene, tey found three men on the ground at the funeral home and Bradley Duncan had his hand on the trigger of a gun.
A victim told police that Duncan tried to get her to talk with him in another room but she said no and resisted.
Police say Duncan allegedly pulled the gun and aimed it at the victim before others tackled him.
During a scuffle, the gun was fired missing two people in the room.
Police say they believe he was attempting to commit murder-suicide. Duncan allegedly said he "would not let go of the gun because I'm not going to jail."
Duncan is charged with domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Duncan has a $250,000 bond.
Duncan has a case review in court next Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m.
