Three injured in Randolph County crash

Three people are in University Hospital after a serious car crash in Randolph County early Monday.

Emergency crews were called to County Road 2320 just east of County Road 2305 around 12:30 a.m. for a car accident.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers, an SUV driven by Shanda R. Taylor, 18, of Huntsville, traveled off the road, overturned, struck a tree and caught on fire.

Taylor was transported to University Hospital by helicopter in serious condition.

Two passengers, 23-year-old Micah L. Tooley and 19-year-old Brooklyn D. Lancaster, both of Moberly, were transported to University Hospital with serious and moderate injuries, respectively.

Troopers say no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
