Lush nightclub suspension changed from 20 days to 10 days
The Jefferson City Liquor Board met Tuesday morning to hear the owners of Lush appeal the 20-day liquor license suspension that they were issued a few weeks ago.
The suspension is a result of tattooing in the club without a license and tattooing subjects who may be under the influence of alcohol.
The owners of Lush apologized for the incident and said management was not aware that tattooing was going on inside the club.
The board reduced the suspension to 10 days instead of the original 20-day suspension. The suspension will begin Sept. 19 and end Sept. 28. There will then be a 6-month probationary period following.
The owners have 30 days to appeal this decision to the circuit court.
