Columbia police investigating shooting in northeast Columbia; 20-year-old woman shot

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police continue to investigate a Friday afternoon shooting that sent a 20-year-old woman to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police responded at 3 p.m. Friday to the 3200 block of Elm Grove Dr. after a report of shots fired.

The 20-year-old female victim who was transported to local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

There is no suspect description available at this time.

Columbia police continue to investigate.
