Widespread frost overnight, rain returns Friday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with winds diminishing and temperatures dropping into the low to mid-30s. Cover up any newly-planted or sensitive vegetation before midnight as frost will develop through morning.

TOMORROW: Frost early, followed by sunshine. Highs in the upper 50s with light north winds.

EXTENDED: Cloud cover rolls in Thursday evening ahead of our next chance of rain as a disturbance approaches on Friday. Showers are expected to move in by mid-late afternoon and exit early on Saturday. Rain will be light in nature, but enough will be around to give us between 0.25" and 0.5" and cool temperatures to start off the weekend in the mid-50s. Expect more sun on Sunday into Monday, but another cold front moves in on Tuesday bringing lows back into the mid-upper 30s and highs in the lower 50s. Monday-Thursday nights we'll keep an eye on patchy frost potential, but any rain chances hold off until the end of next week.
