Police: Man tried to have sex with underage girls
A Mid-Missouri man is facing charges for allegedly attempting to have sex with two underage girls at the same time.
Bryan Meador, 28, of Versailles is charged with felony enticement of a child in Lafayette County.
Police claim two detectives posing as teens texted Meador and Meador allegedly discussed renting a hotel room with them.
According to court documents, Meador also offered the undercover officers money for sex.
A couple of days later, Meador’s wife called authorities after finding the text messages on his phone.
Deputies say Meador knew the girls were claiming they were only 14-years-old, but thought they were lying.
Meador is currently on probation for first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
